Owner-Operated Color Grading and Finishing
Jay Hunter is a colorist with more than 25 years of camera department experience behind the work. That production background informs the grade without making the service generalist: the focus at Flower City Color is color correction, look development, shot matching, color-managed workflows, finishing, QC, and remote review.
Jay grades documentary, commercial, branded, and narrative work for directors, cinematographers, agencies, and production companies. Each session is built around the story, the photography, the delivery specs, and the final screen.
Selected work includes documentary projects Running to Stand Still and Albert Kresch "A Painter's Painter"; television work with NFL Films, Brothers, and Paladin: The Brotherhood; and regional commercial work.
Jay completed the <a href="https://www.colour.training" target="_blank">Colour Training</a> master's program in 2024, bringing advanced color education into a workflow grounded in real production experience. Remote grading and review are available for clients in Rochester, across the United States, and worldwide.
